INSPIRATIONAL WORKSHOP - SYDNEY

WATCH SYDNEY WORKSHOP PROMO

The Sydney Workshop is now over the above sample are a few images I shot on Day 1 of the workshop. It was a great 2 days with some fabulous guest speakers and heaps of fun!

Yep I guess this was shot in Sydney! I really enjoyed showing participants at the Sydney workshop how to take cool night shots.

Students got a chance to see me visualize, set-up and capture.

More Photos and behind the scene images coming soon!
Thanks to all participants who attended I know you were all inspired!

Weddings are about love so I personally believe romance must be captured that's why I love to include night photography in my workshops.

More behind the scenes. In the thick of things I took this shot from behind which shows the busy Sydney workshop.

Just before finishing off on Day 2 of the Sydney workshop I gave participants the opportunity to take key key images using a smoke machine.

Some behind the scene moments. Participants were often slip into two groups so that everyone got a chance to get their shots.

We had photographers travel long distances to attend the Sydney workshop here is what some of them had to say:

Gordon.your workshop was amazing. You asked for critizisim, well sorry dont have any. It was unbelievable. Saw quite a few completely different styles of wedding and portrait photography, different ways to run and market businesses, photoshop, how to visualise great photo oppotunities in local streets, Setting up shots and just complete inspiration from youself. I have actually said I would have paid twice as much and i'd prob do it again if you ever come back.

Gordon, that was the best photography course I think anyone has run around the globe!!! Orders of magnitude better than anything we did in the past. Honestly, you should charge more for that course. I think you could safely put a 1 in front of the 749 and it would still be the best value around for the intended audience - I'm not going to be a wedding photographer - it's too stressful for me, but for those who do want to be wedding photographers, your course is absolute gold!
Best regards, David Visentin

Hi Gordon I wanted to say thanks again for a great weekend of advice, guest speakers,  inspiration and fun. I had such a great time and learnt a lot. It wasn't until the lonely drive back down the coast where I was able to reflect on everything and realize how great it was. One thing I learnt is how simple you do things and how great the results look. I am approaching my photography with a different more simplistic way from now on. You prove you don't need 4 speed lites all around the place to craete interesting lighting.
Cheers Nigel Unsworth

Giving students a chance to see how night photography can become a whole new way of creating great images for their clients and ultimately make more sales!

This was quick hand held shot I took while students were taking their shots from the side.

HEAPS OF FUN! - All ABOARD
On Sunday a driver picked us up in this cool 22 seat minbus and took us to some of my favourite photo shoot locations in Sydney's CBD before we went to the Rocks for night shots. Finally the driver drove us back to the studio in North Sydney for some more smoke machine shots and a champagne farewell

The workshop included these great guest speakers:
Jason Cole - Peter Karp - Brian Chapman - Kira Likhterova
